worst movie ever
Uzak is the worst film I've ever seen. It was godawful and boring. However, it was cinematographically beautiful in a few scenes. The performances, I believe, were probably pretty good. So it did have good attributes. But it was pretentious, really, really, pretentious, thinking it purported to be about something when it really wasn't. I've never come out of a movie feeling so angry that a film maker had robbed me of my time. I'd give it zero stars in that I think its the cinematic equivalent of making out with a pillow: Initially, you think you're learning something, but in the end, you're realise just robbed of your dignity and your mouth feels dry and tastes like cotton, and loneliness consumes you.
